The Residents of Hockley Heath are extremely fortunate to have been left, in Trust, the King George Memorial Hall   The Hall is used for many village activities but is also available for private hire. It is used by the very young to the not so young. If you would like to know more about the Hall or would like to join any of its groups please contact us.

FACILITIES  The main Hall holds up 140 people, but is also suited to smaller groups. It has a stage, recently refurbished wooden floor and enough tables and chairs to seat everyone.   If you want to supply refreshments or prepare food for your function you can also use our kitchen which leads directly into the main Hall. The kitchen comes with a fridge, kettle, microwave, oven and hob, cutlery and plates. You are welcome to bring your own drinks for personal consumption (not for resale) for your event but if you have more than 30 adults attending we are able to open our licensed bar for you. 15 years ago we had the hall adapted for disabled access; we have a large ramp at the front of the building, a low ramp accessing the Clinic from the main Hall and disabled toilet facilities. The kitchen only has a small entrance which may not accommodate some wheelchairs. The Clinic holds up to 20 people and can be used as a small meeting room or an extra room for larger parties where people may want a quiet area or a separate room to place the catering.
